UNTERSCHLEISSHEIM, Germany, Oct. 16, 2013 — Mikrotron GmbH’s EoSens CoaXPress 3CXP, 4CXP, and 25CXP digital high-speed cameras enable new applications in quality assurance and process optimization, including laser triangulation, 3-D inspection and process control in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly.

The cameras’ integrated real-time interface allows data transfer rates up to a maximum of 25 Gb/s and distances up to 100 m. The data transfer, the communication and control to the PC, and the power supply are via one cable.

With a maximum resolution of 3, 4 and 25 megapixels, respectively, the instruments offer application-specific performance levels with maximum rates of 560 (3CXP), 560 (4CXP) and 80 (25CXP) fps. They measure 80 × 80 × 53 mm and can capture the smallest details. They also are suitable for applications in machine vision, event analysis in research and development, and sports and broadcasting shoots.
