Teledyne FLIRFlir Systems has added the E40 and T420 packages to its range of entry-level R&D-grade thermal imaging kits for academic teaching and industrial research labs. The kits include a thermal imaging camera, advanced optics and proprietary ResearchIR software. Unlike thermocouplers, spot pyrometers and IR thermometers, the E40 and T420 kits give real-time noncontact readings of up to 76,800 repeatable temperature measurements in each thermographic image.
