FS5 Fluorescence Spectrometer

LIVINGSTON, Scotland, Oct. 28, 2013 — Edinburgh Instruments has launched the FS5, a steady-state fluorescence spectrometer with single-photon sensitivity for research and analytical applications.

Available versions include the FS5-NIR, which extends wavelength coverage to 1000 nm while maintaining sensitivity in the UV and visible spectral ranges; the FS5-MCS, a phosphorescence option with a lifetime range of microseconds to seconds; the FS5-TCSPC, for measuring fluorescence lifetimes from picoseconds to microseconds by time-correlated single-photon counting; the FS5-POL, with fully automated polarizers in excitation and emission; and two others with extended wavelength ranges to 1650 nm and time resolution down to 50 ps.
