Use VMI’s 15-kV optodiode to make your own high-voltage optocoupler. The linear, reverse leakage current (Ir) can be used to generate a clean control circuitry signal, while the optodiode is reverse biased. The optodiode provides isolation between systems, is small and reliable, and can be used at voltages less than the rated 15 kV or 10 kV. Visit us at Photonics West Show Booth #5406.
