U100-S Ultima Mirror Mount

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 19, 2013 — Newport Corp. has released the U100-S Ultima, a clear-quadrant mirror mount for optomechanical applications.

The device features thick front and rear plates for improved stability and rigidity. The 100-TPI adjustment screws are threaded directly into the mount and provide ±4° of tip/tilt adjustment, while hard cables enable repeatable motion.

The clear-quadrant design allows beams to pass close to the edge of the mounted optic. The device can be mounted to posts for adjustable height or pedestals for stability at a fixed height. Clearance mounting holes on each of the two sides are compatible with either 8-32 or M4 screws.
