DLC Pro Digital Laser Controller

VICTOR, N.Y., Dec. 3, 2013 — Toptica Photonics Inc.’s DLC pro provides laser diode current, temperature and piezo drivers with extremely low noise and drift properties, boosting the performance of its DL pro tunable laser, which now runs with linewidths down to 10 kHz.

The digital laser controller delivers intuitive touch control and remote operation to run and frequency-stabilize the laser for applications including quantum optics and spectroscopy. Users can operate the system via knobs, buttons and a capacitive touch display. A PC software and command line interface allow remote operation via Ethernet or USB.

The controller directly displays signals from an experiment, replacing additional external oscilloscopes. Scan parameters can be adjusted via multitouch gestures.
