LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J., Dec. 11, 2013 — Datacolor has introduced Chromacal, an integrated optical microscopy system that standardizes the color of digital images for biological research.

Chromacal includes proprietary software, a slide to ensure a standard color baseline, and a sensor that establishes color uniformity among monitors.

The company says that as more scientists share their work globally, color consistency is essential for accurate comparison, evaluation and decision making.
