GREENVILLE, Del., Jan. 12, 2014 — ElectroCraft’s EXC-Series AC servomotors, available from Ltd., incorporate electromagnetic components to create high continuous torques with low inertia for rapid acceleration in light industrial, commercial and medical applications.

The 2.3-in., high-voltage motors are available with Hall-effect commutation or encoder feedback and a variety of connection options. They feature sealed ball bearings and reduced torque ripple from skewed magnetization to ensure smooth operation.

By using M-8 ceramic and rare-earth neodymium magnets, the low-vibration, brushless DC motors provide speed up to 15,000 rpm for applications such as centrifuges, fans and pumps.
