DSH-355-25 UV Laser

BOHEMIA, N.Y., Feb. 28, 2014 — Photonics Industries has released the DSH-355-25 Q-switched intracavity solid-state UV ultrafast laser for high-throughput industrial micromachining applications such as flexible PCB (printed circuit board) cutting and wafer scribing.

The laser delivers up to 30 W of harmonic average power at 355 nm from a compact, lightweight monolithic laser head. Its third-harmonic generation crystals require no indexing, so it needs only a simple optical resonator; with its small-form-factor laser head, it can be readily mounted on a movable platform. The laser offers stability and insensitivity to ambient temperature changes.
