TRENTON, N. J., June 30, 2014 — The PI-MAX4:2048f from Princeton Instruments is a high-resolution intensified CCD camera.

The 27.6 × 27.6-mm imaging area and 2k × 2k fiber-optic resolution allows for more data collection. The camera offers frame rates at 6 MHz with 16-bit digitization, as well as a 1 MHz sustained gating repetition rate.

Applications include shock wave physics, neutron research, combustion studies and planar laser-induced fluorescence and spectroscopy.
