RICHMOND, British Columbia, Canada, Aug. 4, 2014 — The Blackfly USB3 Vision from Point Grey Research Inc. is a CCD camera family available in color or monochrome versions.

The cameras come with a global shutter CCD featuring 3.75 µm square pixels capable of 1288 × 964 resolution at 30 fps and a 16 MB frame buffer for retransmitting images.

Applications include 2-D and 3-D metrology, electronics and semiconductor inspection, microscopy and automated license plate recognition.
