PRINCETON, N.J., Oct. 14, 2014 — A new shortwave infrared (SWIR) imager from Sensors Unlimited Inc. provides soldiers the ability to view all battlefield lasers during day or night operations.

The Warrior HWH is available in handheld, weapon-flip or helmet-mounted configurations.

It is capable of imaging through conditions that degrade other non-SWIR systems, including haze, smoke and dust, aiding battle damage assessment.

The device can simultaneously identify and track three designator codes, and operates up to four hours continuously at room temperature.
