Canon “SR” series LED optical digital encoder is versatile, high-performance and compact. The all-in-one “SR-P01A” or “SR-P01AZ” sensor board is approximately 11 × 13 mm. It is capable of reading an 80-µm pitch optical grating from rotary or linear scales. This high-precision sensor, used in various Canon products, is now available as a discrete component.
