BERLIN — PicoQuant SymPhoTime 64 version 2.0PicoQuant has released version 2.0 of its SymPhoTime 64 software package for fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS).

New features include global analysis of FCS and time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) curve fitting to improve cell measurement, enhanced stimulated emission depletion (STED) data acquisition and improved analysis procedures such as gated STED. An extended TCSPC binning functionality permits faster analysis and the binary export of FLIM images.

Fast Pattern Matching allows the separation of two species by lifetime, as well as absorption and emission spectra, refining FLIM image analysis. Data acquisition functions have been extended by grid and tile mode, and Gaussian and Lorentzian line profile analyses have been added, including the display and export of numerous image parameters.
