Eye Safe RPP from OselaOsela introduces its new IEC 60825-1 Class 1 eye safe laser Random Pattern Projector for active stereo 3D imaging applications. This new laser projector allows for easy integration into systems without the need to worry about eye safety to end users and manufacturers alike. Available in different wavelengths including 830 nm (IR) and 660 nm (visible), the RPP will project up to 65,000 randomized cluster free dots over a large field of view. With presently over 15 different RPP models to choose from as standard offerings the RPP can also be readily customizable with low NRE costs. The user can choose different wavelengths from the visible to the IR along with the pattern, number of dots, and field of view desired for an exact fit to their application.

The Random Pattern Projector is critical in applications with no high contrast feature as it adds needed texture to easily auto correlate your images increasing depth sensing resolution. The RPP is ideal for applications such as bin picking, palletizing and robot guidance.
