LEICESTER, England, Feb. 26, 2015 — Taylor Hobson has announced a new range of long-working-distance lenses for its coherence correlation interferometer (CCI) noncontact profilers for measurement of features such as rough surfaces and roundness.
The lenses extend the system functionality for measurement of large sealing surfaces, cone angle, cone roundness, wear scars and roughness inside deep bores.
The 1.5× lens offers a 23-mm working distance for large-area flatness measurement.
The 5× lens has a 40-mm working distance for measurement of deep features.
And the 10× lens has a working distance of 22 mm for measurement of rough surfaces.
Other long-working-distance lenses are available.
