PhaseCam Laser Interferometer from 4D TechnologyThe PhaseCam® 6000 is an extremely compact and lightweight laser interferometer for measurement of optics and optical systems. With an easy-to-position, fiber-coupled measurement head and motorized controls, the PhaseCam 6000 is ideal for on-machine metrology, remote mounting in measurement towers or pressure vessels, and other challenging applications and environments.

The PhaseCam 6000 utilizes Dynamic Interferometry® to acquire all measurement information in less than 30 microseconds—more than 5,000 times faster than a conventional, phase-shifting interferometer. Because acquisition time is so short, the PhaseCam can be used without vibration isolation, making it ideally suited for in situ measurement on production equipment or in noisy environments such as clean rooms. Its insensitivity to air turbulence makes it possible to accurately measure long radius-of-curvature optics, where the instrument may need to be located tens of meters from the test optic.

The PhaseCam 6000 system includes industry-leading 4Sight analysis software, which provides extensive 2D, 3D and Zernike analysis options, as well as data filtering, masking, database and import/export functions.

Applications for the PhaseCam 6000 include measurement of large focal optical systems, concave telescope mirrors and lens systems, deformable mirrors and adaptive optics. Numerous accessories and options are available including a 5-axis mounting stage, diverging lenses, beam expanders and a visible alignment laser to speed test setup.
