TUSTIN, Calif., March 3, 2015 — Symbion Systems MA-5000 SeriesSymbion Systems has announced its MA-5000 Series application-specific spectroscopic sensors, combining capabilities for spectral analysis, sample interfacing, robust packaging, chemometrics and instrumentation software.

Spectral ranges in the UV to near-infrared are available, with each MA-5000 sensor including a miniature on-board computer loaded with a range of Symbion software. Typical components include the RTM rapid deployment package and QT chemometrics.

Applications range from pharmaceutical blending to agriculture and petrochemical process analysis.
