LOWELL, Mass., March 25, 2015 — M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings Inc. has announced the MALD-37045, a four-channel 25.78-G/28.05-G vertical-cavity surface-emitting (VCSEL) driver, and the MATA-37044, a transimpedance amplifier/limiting amplifier. Both feature integrated clock data-recovery functionality.
The devices are used as complete transmit-and-receive solutions for optical modules and on-board optical engines.
The MALD-37045 driver features a high-performance CDR and equalizer. The device provides programmable bias and modulation current with a configurable alarm pin to flag faults on any channel.
The MATA-37044 includes a high-sensitivity transimpedance amplifier with selectable bandwidth to support legacy data rates, a limiting amplifier and an output driver with programmable output swing and de-emphasis.
