WATERLOO, Ontario — Teledyne Dalsa LineaTeledyne Dalsa has added 2k and 4k GigE Vision models to its Linea family of line-scan cameras for machine vision applications.

The new cameras offer up to 2 × 2 binning and multiple regions of interest. They also feature a mode that allows users to cycle through preset camera parameters, including gain, exposure time, outputs and flat-field correction coefficients for each line.

The models also incorporate TurboDrive, a proprietary and patent-pending technology that enables them to utilize the full speed of the sensor (line rate up to 80 kHz) with no loss of image quality. The burst mode feature maximizes system data throughput and allows images to be acquired at full speed and transfer during idle times.
