NEC Display Solutions of America

ITASCA, Ill. — NEC Display Solutions of America Inc. has announced two new laser phosphor projectors for digital signage applications.

The PH1201QL delivers a native 4K (4096 × 2160-pixel) resolution, while the PH1202HL delivers full HD 1080p. The 3-chip digital light processing (DLP) projectors each emit 12,000 lumens of brightness and maintain 2000:1 and 10,000:1 contrast ratios, respectively.

The PH1201HL features a patent-pending heat exchanger system designed to cool the engine while creating a sealed barrier for both the optical and laser engines, thereby preventing dust and other particles from entering the laser and optical path.

The lampless projectors use blue laser with yellow phosphor as light sources and emit consistent light output over lifetimes of 20,000 hours at maximum brightness.
