A Posi-Drive stage 1.650 in. high and 1.750 in. long has been released by Del-Tron Precision Inc. This stage has a 0.250-in.-diameter lead screw, an antibacklash nut and a flexible zero-backlash coupling with a motor bracket, providing a load-carrying capacity of up to 60 lb. The small stage has 0.0001-in. straight line accuracy per inch of travel and 0.0001-in. repeatability. The positioner is available with either linear ball or crossed roller slides in travel lengths ranging from 1 to 4 in.
