Camera Software Extension
Jun 2015
BitFlow Inc.Request Info
WOBURN, Mass., June 4, 2015 — BitFlow Inc. offers a new software extension for its frame grabbers that leverages technology from Nvidia Corp. to eliminate latency in image transfer.

The BitFlow Direct-for-Video Protocol (BFDVP) enables integration of the BitFlow Buffer Interface acquisition application programming interface (BiAPI) with Nvidia graphics processor units (GPUs). The BFDVP achieves zero central processing unit (CPU) use and real-time video imaging by eliminating the delay in moving video into and out of GPUs. Such a delay is caused by the need to use a CPU to copy images from frame grabber buffers to GPU buffers.
