MKS/Spectra-Physics
Designed for powering bioinstrumentation, a new direct diode laser from Spectra-Physics (a Newport company) has a bandwidth at least three times narrower than conventional 488-nm direct diodes. The Excelsior One NB 488-50 has a laser-to-laser center wavelength variation of <±1 nm and outputs up to 50 mW at 488 nm. It also features a typical full width at half maximum (FWHM) linewidth of <0.5 nm and low noise of <0.5 percent root mean square. Suitable for fluorescence-based applications such as flow cytometry, confocal microscopy and multiarray readers, its narrow-bandwidth...See full product
