Toshiba UltraHD 4K CameraToshiba Imaging’s new IK-4K (3840 x 2160) UltraHD 4K video camera delivers world-class UltraHD performance from the smallest three-chip package available. The 3-CMOS UltraHD video camera provides unbelievably sharp details and rich vibrant colors due to its proprietary prism block design and cutting-edge image processing. Incredible video output from an exceptionally lightweight (approx. 2.5 oz.) and ultra-compact (only 1.28” x 1.52” x 1.61”) camera head.

Any dynamic imaging application such as microscopy, ophthalmology, inspection and clinical imaging will benefit from the 60fps, real-time video frame-rates and exceptionally high resolution, up to 1600 TV lines, produced by the IK-4K. Featuring advanced image processing, the camera control unit provides precise fine-tuning of colors, electronic shutter and gamma to achieve unmatched color accuracy under a wide range of lighting conditions. The separate camera control unit is easily tethered up to 15m (50’) from the camera head.

Toshiba also offers a new 3-CMOS full HD (1920 x 1080) video camera providing 1080p at 59.94 fps with a convenient USB3.0 output for simultaneous display and image capture. The IK-HD5U HD Camera is ideal for ophthalmology systems, brightfield microscopy applications, assembly, surgical microscopy, defense, and inspection. Toshiba’s high-definition IK-HD5U camera features a new sensor having increased sensitivity in near IR spectrums. An expanded menu allows access to the sensor’s capabilities for dual-mode imaging, switchable between visible light and near-IR.
