HØRSHOLM, Denmark — deltaDelta Optical Thin Film A/S has announced custom linear variable bandpass filters for midsize and full-frame CCD and CMOS sensors.

The filters offer high transmission and are fully blocked in the light-sensitive wavelength range of silicon-based detectors. They allow the design of compact, robust and affordable hyperspectral imaging detectors that offer several benefits including higher aperture and transmission than gratings and prisms, short measurement time, high suppression of stray light, and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio.

Applications include cancer detection, precision farming and food testing, among others.
