TUCSON, Ariz. — The Prime intelligent scientific CMOS camera from Photometrics (a subsidiary of Roper Technologies Inc.) quantitatively restores images hidden in photon shot noise.
The 4.2-MP device is designed for life sciences research. An embedded signal processing engine based on a field-programmable gate array is featured, enabling signal restoration and feature detection for localization-based superresolution microscopy.
A PrimeLocate feature solves the common problem of data glut. Two interfaces enable 100-fps imaging at full resolution. A USB3 interface is provided.
