BALTIMORE — Pixelligent Technologies LLC has announced a new family of PixClear optical dispersion materials for displays and printed electronics.

Available in a low-boiling ethel acetate solvent system, the materials are available in both 20 and 50 percent loadings in the company's PixClear PG and PixClear PB products.

The nanocrystal materials can be incorporated into commonly used polymers to increase their refractive index and light output.

The separation of a beam into its various wavelength components. In an optical fiber, dispersion occurs because the differing wavelengths propagate at differing speeds. Also called chromatic dispersion.
