BRATTLEBORO, Vt. — Filter Stock ProgramOmega Optical Inc. now offers a stock program for its RapidBand filters.

More than 400 RapidBand combinations are available and can be shipped within three business days. The filters are constructed by combining longpass and shortpass edges produced in 10-nm increments from 400 to 700 nm, and are assembled in an air-spaced ring, meeting the size and quality requirements for many optical systems.

The filters can be mounted in the same 25-mm ring and are manufactured with durable plasma-assisted reactive magnetron-sputtered coatings. Applications range from fluorescence microscopy to rapid prototyping.
