PLEASANTON, Calif. — Clarity Medical Systems Inc. has announced the HOLOS IntraOp intraoperative wavefront aberrometer, which displays qualitative and quantitative refractive data in real time, providing immediate feedback on surgical adjustments for postsurgical refraction.

The device offers active monitoring of sphere, cylinder and axis measurements, providing live feedback to the surgeon while rotating toric intraocular lenses, titrating limbal relaxing incisions and opening arcuate incisions. Ninety measurements per second are taken with a displayed range of –20.00 to 20.00 D and a dynamic range from –5.00 to 16.00 D.

The device can be used in any cataract surgery but is designed for advanced technology intraocular lenses.
