NEWBURY, England — Alrad Instruments Ltd. has announced the Dhyana 400D digital imaging camera, equipped with a scientific CMOS sensor, providing 70 percent quantum efficiency at 550 nm. 

The 1.2-in. sensor format with a 6.5 × 6.5-µm pixel size is designed for microscopy imaging using the standard C-mount. The device has a hardware 2 × 2 binning function, giving it high sensitivity for low-light imaging. It features a wide field of view, low noise, high dynamic range and high frame rate.

Applications include use in the life sciences, astronomy and machine vision field.
