IRVINE, Calif., March 9, 2016 — Tunable LaserThe TLB-6740 laser from New Focus features a tuning range from 2350 to 2450 nm, and is capable of both fine and coarse mode-hop-free tuning.

It operates in single mode and provides >4 mW of free space power at 2400 nm with a linewidth of <200 kHz measured over 50 ms.

Applications include microcavity frequency combs, molecular spectroscope and fiber amplifier seeding.
