AUBURN, Mass. — Digital Piezo ControllerPI (Physik Instrumente) LP offers the E-727 multichannel digital piezo controller, with higher performance and a lower price than its predecessor model.

The 20-bit DAC & ADC converters keep the controller operating with high resolution and ultralow noise, along with four integrated power amplifiers for multilayer piezo drives with operating voltage of −30 to 130 V. Linearization based on 4th order polynomials provides higher positioning accuracy. The Dynamic Digital Linearization (DDL) feature eliminates nonlinearities at high operating frequencies.

Applications include nanopositioning, nanoautomation, semiconductor technology, photonics, bionanotechnology, metrology, microscopy and micromanipulation, including cleanroom applications.
