PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Optical Cleaning Kit Laser Research Optics has announced the LRO Advanced Optical Cleaning Kit, designed for cleaning splatter from CO2 laser optics.

The kit was designed for cleaning spatter and blowback from CO2 optics in the field to prevent damage to coatings, extend lens life and improve laser performance. Ready to use, the LRO Advanced Optics Cleaning Kit includes 24 cotton balls, 24 surgical-grade finger cots, 24 lens mats, distilled water, a polishing compound, reagent-grade isopropyl alcohol, reagent-grade acetone and an air bulb for dust removal.

Ideally suited for sapphire, quartz, germanium, silicon and other materials, the kit’s applications include lenses, windows, output couplers, mirrors, telescopes, gun scopes and more.
