Nanomechanics Offers Testing Procedures

OAK RIDGE, Tenn., Aug. 16, 2016 — Nanomechanics Inc. has announced nanoscale indentation and nanomechanical testing procedures performed by its in-house Service Lab.

The lab provides comprehensive testing results for industries and universities for research and industrial applications. The testing process includes a discussion of customers' needs and goals with varied testing methods to produce results conforming to client objectives. Further testing, discussion and recommendations can also be implemented, if required, after initial testing is completed.

Scratch testing, hardness or modulus measurements and property mapping are also available. A wide array of analytical lab services designed to support small-scale mechanical testing can also be undertaken. Services include nondestructive mechanical property measurements, testing consulting, research collaboration at the university level and reference materials for insight into nanoindentation testing.
