Illumination for Fluorescence MicroscopyThe X-Cite 120LEDBoost from Excelitas Technologies Corp. is a versatile illumination choice for fluorescence microscopy. Features include direct coupling without vibration, electronic shutter and silent thermal management, multiple control options for maximum flexibility, and ergonomic fingertip control. Providing high-power, broad-spectrum fluorescence excitation from 370-700 nm, the X-Cite 120LEDBoost caters to a wide range of popular fluorophores and fluorescent proteins. It features a 40 percent power increase in the 500 to 600 nm region of the spectrum providing stronger excitation for fluorescent proteins. Advanced direct coupling optics ensure bright, uniform illumination when using microscopes from all major manufacturers. The X-Cite 120LEDBoost replaces the X-Cite 120LED broad-spectrum solution from Excelitas Technologies Corp.
