SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — IR ViewerThe HI POWER IR VIEWER from Precision Laser Scanning LLC is a versatile visualization tool for assembling, aligning, testing and monitoring high power near IR laser systems.

The glass has invisible nanocrystals that convert 900 to 1070 nm to green visible light. 3D visualization allows users to observe beam mode, size and shape. The laser damage threshold is >100 W/mm2 continuous wave, and it passes >80 percent of the beam so it can be left in place while running a system. The viewing glass size is 20 × 20 × 2.5 mm overall.

The handle allows the user to safely insert the viewing glass at any accessible beam location.
