Tunable Pulse StretcherThe PowerSpectrum tunable pulse stretcher (TPSR) from TeraXion Inc. is designed for integration in industrial ultrafast lasers.

In addition to accurately controlling pulse durations in lasers using a diffraction gratings compressor, the PowerSpectrum TPSR is also available for matching with a volume Bragg grating compressor. Its tunability allows the laser to maintain peak power, despite amplifier self-phase modulation, thus improving performance. TeraXion’s tunable platform allows a user to adjust pulse durations electronically and even to save multiple pulse-tuning settings, making the operation of multiple jobs on the same laser much easier.

The device provides precise and dynamic control of pulse durations in both fiber and solid-state femtosecond and picosecond laser systems, simplifying the bulk optics alignment of the compression stage. The TPSR is designed to a compressor’s exact specifications.
