SALEM, N.H., Jan. 30, 2017 — The COBRA MultiSpec multispectral LED line light from ProPhotonix Ltd. is available with up to 12 wavelengths from 365 to 1500 nm.

Users can maximize contrast by selecting the optimum color mix and varying the intensity of each wavelength to specific application needs through Ethernet IP commands. Chip-on-board LED technology ensures that the MultiSpec delivers extreme brightness and excellent uniformity in a compact form factor. To enable rapid data acquisition and analysis, the ability to program multispectral strobe patterns is possible.

The light is ideal for multispectral and hyperspectral imaging applications such as counterfeit currency and pharmaceutical detection, food sorting, mineral identification and sorting, material identification for recycling and others.
