Request InfoMolex, FiberguideSTIRLING, N.J., Feb. 13, 2017 — The SMARTSPLICER CO2 laser splicing and glass-shaping system from Fiberguide Industries Inc. was developed by Nyfors Teknologi AB based on technology from the Fraunhofer Institute. The system provides the ability to easily attach large end caps to optical fiber for the production of high-power laser delivery connectors and systems. Fiberguide offers splicing of end caps with end cap-fiber ratios greater than 50:1. Fiber end caps are useful for many applications, especially those where minimizing power at the air or glass interface is desirable, including high-power fiber lasers.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 3/18/2024CO2 OpticsThe CO2 Laser Lenses from Laser Research Optics are CO2 optics meant for use in the production of precision gaskets manufactured from stainless steel, phenolic, and other hard materials.
