MEER, Belgium — The FLIR X6800sc high-performance MWIR camera from Flir Systems Inc. is designed with remote triggering, precise synchronization and advanced thermal technology to generate accurate temperature readings.

The high-speed FLIR X6800sc MWIR camera captures high-resolution, full-frame, 640 x 512-pixel thermal images at 502 fps and saves nearly one minute of data to the on-camera RAM without dropping frames. With advanced triggering options and on-camera RAM/SSD recording, the camera offers the functionality to stop motion on high-speed events both in the lab and at the test range.

Applications include the capture of fast-moving objects for aerospace or ballistics testing and the characterization of rapid thermal transients in circuit boards or composite material testing.
