PEABODY, Mass. — The 4CM multichip fiber-coupled laser from SemiNex Corp. features up to 14 W of continuous wave power in a single core fiber.

The 4CM optically combines the beams of multiple internal laser chips into a single core fiber, offering high power and high conversion efficiency. The product features a single 0.22 NA 400-μm fiber with an SMA 905 connector. An aiming beam, photodiode and thermistor all come integrated into the module.

The system is offered at 1310, 1470 and 1550 nm, all of which are known eye-safe wavelengths, making it highly desirable for medical applications.
