VariFi Precision: LVFs from REOVariFi™ LVFs provide a unique rugged low cost solution for spectral measurement, enabling custom instruments and mini and micro-spectrometers. VariFi™ LVFs also minimize background noise and higher order effects. With dimensions as small as 1mm, these filters open a broad range of new possibilities enabling the technology for enhancements and new applications in spectroscopy, gas analysis, environmental sensors, LIDAR, wavelength instruments and biomedical instrumentation.

Our unique, proprietary, volume scalable technology enables REO to manufacture VariFi™ filters cost effectively for a diversity of wavelength based sensing applications. VariFi filters can be custom made to fit your requirements in the visible, near infrared, and mid-infrared spectral ranges. We produce narrow band pass, long pass, short pass and order sorting filters. Our coatings utilize REO’s proprietary Ion Beam Sputtered (IBS) process with fully densified coatings with inherent wavelength stability and insensitivity to temperature and humidity effects.
