MAINZ, Germany, July 14, 2017 — Phosphate Laser GlassAPG-760 phosphate laser glass from Schott AG is made for high-performance applications at 1.05 µm.

The glass is available in various versions and can be adapted for a variety of applications. Dielectric coatings are also possible, with Nd3+ doping from 1 to 4 percent.

The glass has improved thermomechanical properties and is best suited as an active material in laser systems with high pulse powers such as femtosecond laser systems.
