SWAMPSCOTT, Mass. — Crystal Lenses and WindowsZinc selenide (ZnSe) and barium fluoride (BaF2) crystal lenses and windows offered by Rainbow Optics Co. operate in a wide transmission range from 0.15 to 12.5 µm and from 0.5 to 22.0 µm, respectively.

Optics can be supplied uncoated or AR-coated. Sizes range from 0.25 to 4 in. with thicknesses from 0.04 to 0.50 in. Typical surface quality is 60-40 scratch and dig.

The optics can be used with spectroscopy-based instruments, CO2 laser optics and IR detector lenses.
