SUDBURY, Mass., Sept. 5, 2017 — The SUEX and ADEX dry, thick-film resist materials from DJ MicroLaminates Inc. feature high resolution and high aspect ratios.

The easy-to-apply materials feature ideal uniformity characteristics. The dry film resist sheets and rolls have no edge bead, no mess or waste from spin coating and excellent thickness uniformity. Using low-cost lamination equipment, these films apply quickly and do not require the long dry times typical of liquid photoimageable materials. Additionally, dry films avoid solvent and other chemical gradients in the film and provide for a cleaner solvent and antimony-free manufacturing process.

The materials are suited for semiconductor and wafer-level packaging processes; electronic components; MEMS and bio-MEMS systems; microfluidic structures; and consumer and medical device and display applications.
