NESS ZIONA, Israel, Nov. 23, 2017 — Stripper RecoatingsLow Modulus Stripper Recoatings from MY Polymers Ltd. are used in cascaded cladding light strippers.

The cascaded design includes few segments, each with a higher refractive index of 1.47, 1.48 or 1.49. The cascaded structure enables gradual dissipation of the cladding power, the lowering of hot spot temperature and the increasing of overall reliability.

The lower modulus is helpful in very high power strippers since the lower modulus reduces stress in thermal cycling.
