AHRENSBURG, Germany, Dec. 5, 2017 — Basler CMOS CameraThe Microscopy ace camera from Basler AG offers 12.2 MP with up to
15 fps with the latest Sony STARVIS IMX226 rolling shutter CMOS sensor.

The camera uses backside-illuminated pixels and offers low dark noise of only 3 electrons, combined with a quantum efficiency of more than 80 percent. With this particularly light-sensitive sensor, the new Microscopy ace 12.2 MP delivers detailed images and high image quality, even in low light conditions. It reaches up to 71 dB of dynamic range.

Applications include a wide range of microscopy uses including material inspection, lab routine work and more.
