WOONSOCKET, R.I., March 14, 2018 — Conductive Potting CompoundThe EC-1015 thermally conductive potting compound from EpoxySet Inc. is a low-viscosity system ideal for potting, encapsulating and casting applications where performance at continuous operating temperatures up to 180 °C is required.

The epoxy is black, heat-cured with an eight-hour work time and can be cured as low as 100 °C. It has a low coefficient of expansion and low cure shrinkage, thus minimizing stresses during cure and temperature cycling. The material is also an electrically insulating, high-dielectric polymer that offers chemical resistance and proprietary protection.

The EC-1015 is used extensively for protecting motors, coils and electronic components.
