laTEMPWavelength Electronics Inc. has released the LFI-3751 temperature controller designed for sensitive applications. The device features a proportional integral derivative Autotune to calculate settings that reduce temperature overshoot and improve settling times. The PID terms are continuously adjustable from the front panel, and the control loop is built with all-analog circuitry, operating with lower noise than digital loops. The instrument has <0.002 °C short-term temperature stability and can control temperature from -199.9 to +199.9 °C. The LFI-3751 supports a range of sensors including thermistors, RTDs, AD590s, AD592s, LM335s, LM35s and thermocouples.
